Uninstalling Version 4.x

We find that in many cases the person that who installed this version of CyberPatrol, did not set a password. If you know this to be the case, leave the Password field blank and click OK.

With version 4 you should see a CyberPatrol icon next to your Start menu button.

  1. Right-click on this icon then select Uninstall CyberPatrol from the pop-up menu.
  2. Click OK at the first window which states 'Please make sure that all winsock applications are closed."
  3. At the 'Access checkpoint" leave the window in the Headquarters password screen blank and click the Validate Password button.

If this does not work:

  1. Set the date on the computer to 03/20/02.

  3. Click the yellow badge symbol in the lower right of the password screen. The center of the badge will change.
