According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children 71 percent of kids surveyed reported receiving messages online from someone they don't know. Forty five percent have been asked for personal information by someone they don't know. Thirty percent have considered meeting someone that they have only talked to online and 14 percent have actually met a person face-to-face that they have only spoken to over the Internet.
