Using SiteSURV starts with changing the DNS on your Internet access point (computer, router, or server) to point to CyberPatrol, rather than your ISP. An easy to use document quickly walks you through the entire process. All Web site requests are then routed to CyberPatrol before access to the site is granted.
Web site requests are compared against CyberPatrol’s list of good and undesirable web sites. Requests to access known good sites are automatically allowed. Requests to access sites deemed undesirable by CyberPatrol are blocked. Blocked sites include porn, adult sites, gambling and many other common objectionable categories of Web sites. Sites not on either list are allowed.
CyberPatrol’s database of Web sites is continually updated assuring the most accurate and updated protection possible.
